radikalioji demokratija statusas T sritis Politika apibrėžtis Teorinis ir politinis projektas, kuriame susiejama marksistinė kapitalistinės visuomenės kritika ir respublikoniškasis politinio dalyvavimo idealas tvarkyti bendruomenės reikalus bei angažuojamasi plėsti ir gilinti demokratiją. Kairiųjų teorinis ir politinis projektas, kurio tikslas – demokratinė revoliucija, demokratinių principų įgyvendinimas. Svarbiausia nuostata – kapitalistinių santykių ir pernelyg formalios liberaliosios Vakarų demokratijos kritika bei kraštutinių galimybių puoselėjimas. Radikalieji demokratai kritikuoja demokratijos tapatinimą su liberalizmu ir kapitalizmu ir teigia, kad demokratijos principai nėra įgyvendinami šiuolaikinės kapitalistinės visuomenės sąlygomis. Idealas yra visus piliečius įtraukti į valdžią, todėl šio projekto tikslas yra išplėsti ir pagilinti demokratiją, laisvės ir lygybės principus perkėlus į kuo platesnę socialinių santykių sritį. Projektas dažnai siejamas su E. Laclau ir Ch. Mouffe idėjomis. Šių autorių pateikta ortodoksinės marksistinės minties kritika remiasi postmodernios ir postsruktūralistinės teorijos įžvalgomis, orientuoja į naują, skirtingumo pripažinimu grįstą politikos sampratą. atitikmenys: angl. radical democracy
